Our employees conduct their day-to-day duties with a strong sense of responsibility in order to achieve the important mission of ensuring a safe and stable supply of LPG—a critical lifeline infrastructure. As the industry leader by market share in domestic LPG sales and having supported the lives of consumers from the outset of the LPG industry, we have maintained a proactive and future-oriented approach by providing proposals on domestic policies, laws and regulations, and rules related to LPG through involvement in industry organizations.
Importing LPG from Diversified Sources
ENEOS GLOBE Corporation has been involved in the import and trade of LPG for more than half a century since 1962, when we launched the world's first large cryogenic LPG tanker (the Bridgestone Maru).
In addition to maintaining stable imports based on our long-standing relationships with gas-producing countries in the Middle East, we are working to further diversify our supply sources and strengthen our competitiveness by acquiring new supply sources, including recently expanding imports of shale gas-derived LPG from the United States.
We maintain a fleet of large-sized, cutting-edge LPG tankers to ensure stable procurement of LPG from countries around the world.
We are continuing working to ensure a stable supply of LPG by developing some of Japan's largest import terminals, secondary terminals, and other related infrastructure.

With eight company-owned import terminals—the largest number in Japan—we have a stable supply system capable of delivering LPG to every part of the country.
Safe, Stable Logistics
With the largest number of shipping terminals in Japan, we strive to ensure a stable supply of LPG through the nation's most extensive supply chain, which we have developed in cooperation with LPG distributors throughout Japan. We are also working to strengthen our business continuity measures, including those of our affiliates, in order to prevent supply chain disruptions and ensure the stable delivery of LPG. LPG is an essential commodity that supports livelihoods in times of disaster. In order to ensure the stable delivery of LPG, ENEOS GLOBE Corporation has been recognized by the Cabinet Office as a designated public corporation since April 1, 2020, based on Article 2, Paragraph 5 of the Basic Act on Disaster Management , due to the important role that the company plays in disaster management administration. More than 510 of our vehicles across Japan have been pre-registered as emergency transit vehicles and are ready to respond in the event of a disaster.
